Each week, we host a live session designed to help families explore how RISE Online Academy works. In this interactive session, you’ll:

  • Get an overview of our unique K–8 learning model and the supports available to families.

  • Hear tips to set your student up for success from the very beginning.

  • Ask questions live during our Q&A and connect directly with a RISE team member.

  • Meet other families who are also part of RISE.

These sessions are the best way to see what makes RISE different, get your questions answered, and connect with the RISE community.

How will my child stay connected with actual teachers at RISE Online Academy?

At RISE, real human engagement is front and center. Students participate in daily live lessons led by certified teachers, giving them opportunities to ask questions and interact in real time. In addition, teachers host regular check-ins, monitor progress through the LMS, and respond promptly to student work. You won’t get a “set-it-and-forget-it” experience — your child is never alone. 

If my child falls behind or needs extra help, how does RISE support them?

RISE is built on personalized support. Every student has access to academic coaches, tutors, and teachers who intervene early when gaps appear. These supports are active: teachers regularly review student data, reach out when assignments are late or low quality, and keep open lines of communication with parents. The goal is not just to teach — but to help every learner succeed.

How much time will my child spend in live classes each day — and will we still have flexibility?

At RISE, we know families choose online learning for freedom and balance. That’s why live lessons are no more than two hours a day — enough for real teacher connection without overwhelming your schedule. The rest of the day is flexible, giving your child time to learn at their own pace, pursue passions, and enjoy family life — all while staying on track academically.
